Shoulder Strap Triangle Tops

To the relief of necks everywhere, more and more bikini straps are slipping down from halter-neck, to the comfort of the shoulders. As a swimwear devotee I welcome the addition of new styles and wider selection. Shoulder strap styles distribute bust weight into two, any woman C cup and over will appreciate not having to deal with the painful indentation behind her neck, after a long day of halter wearing at the beach. I do understand that not all halters are made equally and there’s a fabulous selection out there, I love them. This is not a post aimed at which style is better, it’s about the celebration of the new! So let’s welcome the growing range of shoulder strap triangle tops with my 2 top picks.

Splash Tri Bikini Top: While reading the features: Made of 1mm sublime soft neoprene. Sublime popped out at me as the word itself covers all bases when it comes to describing this top. The comfort, fit, quality and Signature Retro Bond Girl look- all sublime! I would more than recommend buying for the look alone, and the superior features which both shape and mould to your bustline, your girls will thank you for. In a league of it’s own, and one of my hot fav brands for comfort with additional features: adjustable back and shoulder straps, removable padding and available in 3 different colour ways, as well as black/black (Pictured in aqua/fuchsia and featured in their Instagram feed).

Darling Bralette: Having briefly mentioned this top in a previous post about the brand, I can’t help but highlight it in more detail for being such a winner! Designer Rebecca releases fresh prints and colour collections seasonally. Still piquing my interests, even after having just bought my 4th set I now realize I am addicted to this fit! It’s like finding your favourite bra and wanting to buy it in every colour and pattern option(pictured in Cinnamon). Adjustable back and shoulder straps, in luxe Italian Lycra that can also double as an everyday bra, thru to a light work-out. With fashion revolving around showing your underwear as outerwear, I’m much more confident wearing this under a sheer shirt, than a lacy bra, while still keeping in with the tone.
The Darling Bralette and Duskii Splash Tri Top are very similar in comfort and fit. They both have the clever adjustable back strap, giving you a custom fit without the bulk of a tie. Genius! Perfect for those with larger bust to back ratio safely being able to go up a top size knowing you can tighten the back. With both tops doubling as a bra, they’re great for that holiday vacay where smart, compact packing is a must. Not only a backpacking and glamping essential but leaving more room for our luxury items. You’re welcome!

    Hi! Great post!

What size did you get for the Frankie Swimwear Darling Bralette? How does it compare to your regular bra size? I’d be really grateful if you could tell me your bust + underbust measurements 🙂 I sound like a creep but I’m really not! Promise I’m not getting my jollies (although you are super gorgeous so that’s half-true). I want to buy the Darling Bralette but can’t figure out what size would be best for me xx
