If you live in Europe then I don’t need to tell you that Spring has decided not to show up. March/April on the Dalmatian coast of Croatia is what some would find (depending on where you live), Summer weather. A time I like to build my base tan, take in all that welcome Vitamin D after a gloomy Winter; all whilst constructively daydreaming coming up with new content inspired by the Spring blooms….. So back to the situation at hand where in reality i’m left to drool over all the new Spring/Summer 18 collection on the web, inside, with torrential rain out. At least I’m mentally there right?! Enough so that I thought I’d do a blog post on the new suits that have me seeing Spring/Summer… even if it is a bit of a no show!
So thank goodness for brands like Kai Lani that know how to raise your spirits, bringing you the sun in the form of a suit, and potentially get you shopping for your Summer bikini before the sunny season arrives.
Basically Kai Lani have me obsessing! 3 suits to be exact and here’s why. I’ll start with the Bralete and Boom Boom Bottom in Tropicana. This style is a Kai Lani signature suit that i’ve featured in the past, and will forever call it one of my all time favorite bikinis! From the comfort with the over the shoulder straps, soft tie back and soft sash no-dig-in sides of the pant, to the sexy bust strap details and V style pant, it ticks all the boxes. The pant is now available in not only cheeky, but a full cut option has been added. The Tropicana is my pick of this seasons prints as I love the turquoise with red and purple under tones popping against the bright white background.
The other two suits are from Kai Lani’s Disco range: The Black Disco Bikini with its bold rainbow metallic elastic trim on the base of the top and hip straps is the ultimate in cool! The only other suit from this season so far that I could say is as roller (skate) chic, or could compliment and stand up to this suit is also By Kai Lani-
The Disco One Piece: Both suits fierce in their own right, making you want to buy them both. Sport luxe is the vibe from this bikini, where as the One Piece is your 70’s Cher disco cool that I want to own, and hopefully embody some of that careless cool while wearing it! Design wise I love the simplicity of the Bandeau style top balancing this sexy look, directing all the attention to the sky high hip cut and rainbow banding. This suit is held together by 3 rainbow metallic straps that carry on seamlessly to the back, to give a polished high quality look to this Disco diva suit.
Left stuck in a predicament of which suit I should get, I would love to hear which one you’d like to see featured on my Instagram feed?! Comment here, or on my latest @moreswimwear Instagram post to help me make that decision, so I’m ready for the sunshine for when it finally decides to show up!!!
